hi mitchell you're the best

Hi, I'm in my fairy dress. I have my belt done up tight, so as to hold all the gut feelings in. I think today will be just fine, thank you.
I should eat some breakfast before the acid in my stomach kills me.

airy fairy

I have a new dress and I feel like a fairy. It's all lace and pretty, and I've got my sweetest perfume on. If only my hair were long. I'll get my mother to braid it.

teatime

Today was all click click, "oh my god, this dress" and whatever the sound of a smile is.

At first it was lonesome but 'gleeful', then it was Joe and Zak(ch?), then it was Georgia Munn and opshopping, then it was dresses and joy and then it was cutting them too short. Which wasn't a good point. But Mum can fix it. I can fix it.

I can fix it.

My dresses are wonderful. One of them is like experiencing a full-blown tropical island, one is like shiny velvet dolphins, one is just plain cute 12 year old clothing, and the last one is lacey back cut-out gorgeous.

On another note, I borrowed a DLSR camera so expect some digital (gasp) photos on here or my flickr soon. Don't expect them to be good, but expect them anyway!

it's kind of fun to sit in mess while the rain pours down outside

Today I wore my ugly shoes (from the ugly shop) and I bought a pair of dungarees. Me and Ashleigh will have a dungaree party. Marcella said she had some dungarees, but they are sort of a dress. So did Heather, but she said hers are really old, but they probably still fit her cause she's thin. Maybe they will join our dungaree party.

But not tomorrow, because tomorrow is nothing and I plan to spend it fixing up my pretty new vintage dress. And maybe working on my fast food dress. Because I really really want it finished. I can wear it with my interactive sweater! It's so interactive.

Also got a surprise 'Christabelle' from Alex today. His hair is kind of like a really fuzzy soft hedgehog.

'hey, marriage is no picnic, you have to work at it'

My father's parents have been married for sixty years. They lived in the same house for about forty years. My gran is one of the most amazing people I know. She had five children, and raised them all well. She has kept almost everything she's ever owned. She gave me an incredible dress that she made herself in the fifties. She's a wonderful seamstress, she plays piano well, she's an excellent cook, and she's eighty-six.

I was born on their forty-fifth anniversary, and I don't think I have ever appreciated them enough until now.

Glitter, sequins and other lovelies!

Six new vintage dresses for my collection...
Two Squirrels is wondrous...
...and shh, but so are the pretty
girls
that shop there in their
cute vintage
shoes and
adorable hair.

Oh gosh,
and I love one dollar opshop tights from the fifties...
I also love naive old ladies that work in opshops that don't know the value of vintage :3

Life is simply quite wonderful after vintage sales and weekends with Mitchell.
